Why does font in my Outlook auto signature change in some e-mails

I've set up my auto signature in Outlook with specific fonts and font sizes.
When I receive a reply from someone, the font (both type and size) sometimes
switches to something else. Is it because it's defaulting to what they've
selected for their mail settings? Is there a way to preserve my font
selection?

I don't know, but I have my auto signature set up the same way, and the font
changes when I send a new email or respond to an email. I wish someone could
tell us how to fix this!
