why does first letter of every line turn into a capital?

Many months ago as I was typing a letter, suddenly the first letter of every
new
line turned into a capital letter. I have been unable to find anyone able or
willing to help me with this unless I take a class or "bring the computer in
to the
store". Can someone help? Thanks.

You are using your computer like a typewriter and it doesn't like it. :)

Don't press the Enter key at the end of each line. Just keep typing. When it
reaches the margin, Word will wrap to the next line and will not captialize
it. You can change your margins and other formatting to change how wide you
want your text to be. http://addbalance.com/usersguide/basic_formatting.htm.

This is an AutoCorrect option to captialize the beginning of each sentence.
When you press the Enter key you are telling Word to start a new paragraph.
By definition, that paragraph begins with a new sentence, so Word will
capitalize it for you. While you can turn this off, you are far ahead
learning to use Word the way it was designed to be used.
