i have just upgraded my hardware and the ram is now 1024 on running my office
version seven access module i am given the report "out of memory" i
understand this has something to do with a part of access called
jet...........has any one seen this before....and if so is there a work
around so that i am able to use access seven
(e-mail address removed).............if any one has any
idea at all.

Certainly Access 97 (version 8) ran into problems with that much memory, so
I would suspect Access 95 (version 7) might as well.

You may have to upgrade to a newer version of Access (which would probably
be a good thing, since Access 95 was probably the least stable version
released)

AFAIK, there is no fix to get Access 95 to work on a machine that has 1gb
RAM.

If the situation is desperate, you could remove some RAM, run it in a
virtual machine, or borrow someone's old PC.

There was a MS stress testing utility that reduced
the amount of reported ram. I can't remember if it
was only for WinNT.
