Why doen't Word work with Outlook (OLE registration error)?

When Word is specified as the editor in Outlook, and I try and mail the
message it returns "Unspecified error!". Sometimes when I start the message,
it returns an error message that says there is an "OLE registration error"
and suggests I run setup again. I did and got the same result.

The system is Windows XP and the software is Office 2003, full edition.
This software once worked when I first installed it. Maybe it was ruined by
the constant software upgrades that Microsoft keeps throwing at me. The
computer is HP Media running AMD Athlon X2.

Click Start>Run and enter
regsvr32.exe ole32.dll
in the Open field. Click OK.

Thank you. It worked!
