I regularly have problems (Word 2003, WinXP) when changing the format of some
selected text. Most times Word seems to change the whole document to the
selected format change, and yet I can click Undo (once) and it leaves my
intended reformat of the selected text and undoes the change to the rest of
the document.
I did try checking whether the Normal style "automatic style update" box was
checked, but it wasn't.
This is most frustrating (as you can no doubt imagine!). Any ideas?
