Why do the column headers in my inbox and sent box keep changing?

The columns in my inbox and sent box keep changing. For instance, in my inbox
I want to see who has ent me mail, but the "From" column keeps changing to a
"To" column. I change it back using "Cystomize Current View", but it just
keeps on changing back!!

Try going into Define Views and resetting the view (if it's a built-in view;
custom views can't be reset). See if that helps.
