I am building spreadsheets to be viewed on another computer on our shared
drive. However, sometimes cells with the date in them show up as XXXXXX's.
Similarly, some cell with formulas to do sums show up as XXXXX's also. Is
there a difference in the settings on the two computers? If so, how do I fix
this?

I think you mean ######

The columns are too narrow so widen them.

The reason it occurs on some setups and not others is probably due to
resolution and/or printer drivers being different.

You have to get everyone standardized on both accounts.

hi
not sure but i think you may be seeing ##### instead of XXXXX.
this may not be a settings thing between the 2 pc's but more a column width
thing. try adjusting the column width on the pc's that's giving you problems.
