Why do other's see my calendar information as 'unknown'?

When other users are scheduling a meeting, my information shows up as "unknown"

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Mandy asked:

Yes, Its Outlook 2000 and the unkown info shows when using 'Plan a Meeting'
on the Actions menu. When someone wants to invite me to a meeting and uses
the Plan a Meeting function, my schedule shows lines in some areas as
'unknown'. (Even though there is nothing really scheduled on my calendar)
