We are using word as the editor in outlook 2003. In doing so when we received
the message as one of the addressees the format was plain text. the document
was sent not as an attachment but was inbedded in the message itself. It was
as if outlook changed from rich text to plain text all by itself.

This is neither a Word, nor an Outlook newsgroup. This is an Access
newsgroup.

Wrong newsgroup.

Microsoft's Help system has misled you into posting your question in
the wrong place: this newsgroup is for the database program Microsoft
Access.

Please scroll down the list of newsgroups and find a suitable
microsoft.public.outlook newsgroup and repost - you'll get some help
there.
