Why do I need to "debug" when I log onto AOL?

Ever since I added MS Word 2002 to my PC, I get a box when I log onto AOL
asking me to debug Microsoft SCRIPT? What is this debugging thing and why
does this keep coming up?

I'd like to get rid of it. How can I do this?

Hi Maggie,

This isn't really anything to do with Word - it's to do with Internet Explorer (which you may also have updated). You can turn off
script debugging from within that application - see under Tools|Internet Options|Advanced.

Cheers

Hi Maggie,

The MS Debugger runs in Internet Explorer when it detects a possible error in the construction of a Web page. Installing Office or
an update tends to turn that setting on/back on in Internet Explorer. There should be two settings for debugging that you can set
as 'disable' in
Tools=>Internet Options=>Advanced
that should stop the majority of the debug prompts.
