Why do I have 2 calendars, personal folders and outlook today?

My calendar in outlook today is not matching up with the calendar that's
showing under personal folders. What's even more challenging is that when
I'm syncing my palm, it can't tell which calendar to go to and keeps bouncing
back and forth duplicating the entry not only on the palm, but also in the
calendar listed under "outlook today"

If I am understanding you correctly- you have 2 calendars showing in your
Oultook - one under Outlook today and another one under Personal Folders?
These would not match they are different separate calendars. Or are you
saying that when you are on Oultook today the items you see displayed do not
match the one and only calendar you have in Outlook?
**************

Outlook has one main mailbox (delivery location) that is uses. This is the
one the the Palm will use to synch.

If you are on an Exchange Server that should be your main location for
delivery - unless otherwise stated by the Administrator. Outlook will create
a personal folder automatically when it is being created unless steps are
taken to use the Exchange mailbox or existing personal folder. Take all the
data (calendar, etc) in the personal folder and export it into the main
mailbox. Be aware of any mailbox size limitations. The personal folder that
at one point will still show the mailbox items (calendar, task, inbox) these
can not be deteled. However you can create a new Personal Folder and
export/import or drag the folders created by you into the new one.

If it is actually 2 personal folders and no Exchange then you can do the
same steps above so that Outlook has one set of folders for its main delivery
location and synching.
