Why do I get txt attachments with each inbound email?

We get a .txt attachment with each inbound email and it gets annoying. It is
the same information as in the body of the email, but, as an attachment. How
do we get rid of this?
 
Close Outlook/Windows - it appears to be a resource issue if Outlook has
been open for a long time - a few days or weeks.

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.
