Why do I get "the featre you are trying to use is on a cdrom"?

I have installed Office 2003 professional from cdrom over Office 2000 (I
selected remove previous versions when doing the installation) but I am
getting this Windows Installer message every time I start Outlook2003 -
asking for the Office 2000 cdrom. When I click cancel three times the message
goes away and Outlook 2003 works fine.

There must be some registry setting that I can edit to stop this coming up.

Go into Control Panel-> Add/Remove Programs to remove the remaining features
of Outlook 2000.

Unfortunately the uninstall option still requires the original cdrom... which
I am having some trouble finding. Can I uninstall without the original media?

There is an Office 2000 Eraser Utility; see
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/239938/

However, reading it I am not sure if it will run on Windows XP.
