Why do emails keep coming back after I delete them?

I recently switched from Outlook Express to Outlook. Every day when I log
in, the emails that I deleted the day before are back in my In-Box as new
emails. And yes .. I even delete them from my Deleted Items folder before
logging out the day before. It's beginning to feel like some crazy Friday
the 13th plot with little "Jasons" that keep coming back after you've killed
them. Can anyone help? Thanks!

What version of Outlook are you using? Do you have it set to leave a copy
of messages on the server?

THANKYOU for responding so quickly! I have Microsoft Outlook 2003. Yes, I
have it set to leave a copy of messages on the server so that I can also
download them onto my home computer, where I use Outlook Express. I do not
get the evil duplicates on my home computer. Does this just sound odd?

Are you syncing any kinds of palm device taht could be syncing them back into
your inbox?

Do you only get the duplicate messages once or do they keep coming back over
and over and over?

The person who suggested perhaps you're syncing with another device (like
a Treo) had an interesting approach as well.
