Why difference in Beta 1 and Spybot S & D?

Both scanning back to back bring up problems (6) in
Spybot but ZERO in MS Beta 1? What's up? The six were:
DoubleClick, 2 for Advertising.com, Avenue A, Inc ,
FastClick, MediaPlex. Full in-depth scans with the
breadth of cookies but vastly different results, please
provide feedback. Thanks.

Different programs detect different things. That's what differentiates them
from one another. That is also why a prudent person runs multiple cleaning
programs.

This Beta version does not check for cookies. Future
versions might.

I guess many think that MSAS is almighty and can replace other applications
:)

Have you tried posting your problems
not related to MS AntiSpyware to

Please search the newsgroups before posting - this has been discussed ad
nausem.

MSAS does not scan for cookies since cookies are mere text files, not
spyware. They constitute a possible privacy issue but mot a malware
infestation.
