Why did my spell check in outlook switch to french

The spell check has worked fine for a long time. It may have started when I
installed Microsoft Office Home and student 2007 to get excel. When I click
on tools in Outlook and then to options and spell folder. My only option for
language in French and I need English. Can anybody help?

Do you have Outlook, or Outlook Express? This newsgroup is for
questions about Microsoft Outlook. Outlook Express is not the same as
Outlook. If you have Outlook Express, then your question is off-topic
here, but see http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=932974 "You no longer
have spell checking capabilities in some languages in Outlook Express
6.0 after you install the 2007 Microsoft Office system". The usual
workaround is to install a third-party spellchecking utility (there are
many, some free, some not, just ask Google).

Thank you very much. I do have Outlook express 6 and didn't know it was all
together different from outlook. I'll see what I can do to fix it now.
