Spell check - can only select French!

My spell chcker is set to French. When I go to chage this (to English), it
only has French as an option.

Help please!?!

That is a problem with Outlook EXPRESS.
Outlook Express came bundled up to version 6 of Internet Explorer.
Outlook Express is a long-unsupported program (as of 2006).

This newsgroup discusses Outlook.
Outlook is a component of the MS Office suite.
Outlook is *not* a cousin product of Outlook EXPRESS.

Outlook Express never came with a spelling checker. It borrowed the
spelling files from Word. However, after installing Word 2007, Outlook
Express cannot use the English, German, or Spanish spelling files; read

find a 3rd party spell checker for Outlook Express. Some are free.
