Why did my font size change?

G

Geo

I have been using Outlook 2007 for 3 years now and everything has been find.

The other day I must have did a shortcut or something but the font size in
the notes section in my contact records are large now. It's annoying since I
have to scroll to see the notes within the contact. Also when I compose a new
email or reply to a new email, everything is large there too.

All the records are large now so it has to be a global setting I'd assume.

Can anyone please tell me how to change it back to the default font size or
smaller size it was at?

(I went to options and everything is set to +Body, regular, 11 size)

Sincerely,
Geo

Perhaps you accidentally set your Zoom. If you use a scroll mouse, put it in
the body of the email and press the Control button and hold it while you use
your scroll button on the mouse to resize.

This same problem has been happening to me today, too. I'm wondering if
there's a virus of some kind. I have never had this happen before.

I'm on a laptop and don't have a mouse. Can you explain how to adjust the
zoom without a mouse?

Thanks!

Joan

I figured it out. There's no virus. Somehow the zoom on my replies got
changed from 100% to 198%. I went to View>Toolbars and clicked Formatting.
There I was able to access the zoom level manually.

Touchpads and mice both should have the same functionality. On mine, I have a
scrolling region defined along the right side of the pad. When I drag my
finger up or down in this area, the window scrolls just like I used a scroll
button on a mouse. If I hold the Ctrl key when doing this, the zoom factor
changes.
