Why Cydoor is a spyware?

Hi all
I use flashget to download stuff on the web.
The program uses cydoor to view some banners.
Thus, every time I use it, on the next spyware scan, I get signature of
cydoor.
Is it really a spyware or what?

You don't know how to use Google?

Looks like it is adware. However, since it also sends out usage statistics
(without your permission and without your knowledge), it also qualifies as
spyware. I have yet to use any anti-spyware product that lets the user
differentiate between adware and spyware, but some let you ignore the
product if you are willing to suffer the adware to use the software with
which it came bundled.
