why can't i view images on certain websites?

when i go to certain websites the images are blocked out. I'm guessing it's
something really simple but i have no idea what the problem is.

Post back with specifics such as website and which images on the website and
someone here may be able to help.

A few possibilities:
Browser, Internet Explorer etc, needs to be updated.
Incorrect security settings.

ysainsburytoyou & world books & pretty much anything else that has pictures.
I've tried going into internet options & restoring to default & security is
at custom level but that can't be changed to default level.

If so, you almost certainly have some sort of malware.

Hurrah! I scanned everything for virus & spyware using all the products that
i currently have. This seems to have done the trick & now i can see again.
Didn't realise that some programmes detect things that others miss. Many
thanks
