why can't i veiw deleted mail? and trouble e-mailing my instructors

when I delete an e-mail and then go back to view it I cannot view it why is
that??

when I try responding to an e-mail from messenger from my teachers it will
not allow me to respond saying it is not allowed what do? I need to allow
that option so I can continue recieving and sending e-mail to my
instructors

Don't delete emails you may want to view later.
Nevertheless, those should be in the Deleted Items folder
until such time as you empty that folder.
