Why can't I undo after saving in Excel?

I'm using Excel 2000 and after I hit the save button, I no longer have the
option to undo. Is there somewhere I can change this?

I agree, a 'back' button would be really nice...almost as good as chocolate,
well, maybe not chocolate, how about marshmallow creme...
