Why can't I see the Properties of drives, and folders

When I right-click, then "Properties" on a hard drive or folder in Explorer
I don't get anything. On the other hand, the diskette drive and the CDROM
drive show Properties. Also, MOST (but not all) files will show Properties.

????????

If you're running XP Pro, and have IIS installed, remove and reinstall
Internet Information Services.
 
UNREAL!!!! What on earth is the relationship between IIS and a Folder
Property display? Obvious, right?
