I cannot get my printers to print the full range of colors. Muted red or pink
colors are dominant. I suspect the my printer settings are the problem. What
can I do?

This isn't a Word problem - it's a printer problem.

At a technical level, no current desktop printer can print the full spectrum.

You may be able to achieve better performance from your current printer by:
.. cleaning it
.. adjusting its settings
.. using different inks
.. using different paper

To add to what macropod has said, my first impulse would be to make sure
that the color ink cartridge is not running out of some colors.
