Why can't I paste an image into email?

For some odd reason, I can't paste an image directly into my email. I used to
be able to do this with no problems. It shows up on the clipboard, but when I
select paste, it just won't do it. I did recently get a new computer; does
this have something to do with it? Is there some option in Outlook I need to
check?

I've got the same issue as well, I had to make Outlook use Word to be the editor, and then you can paste direct into the body of the email
<tools><Options><mail format> and then there are two tick box's in "message format" . tick those, and all seems to be ok
