Why can't I get .dbx files imported into Outlook Express 6?

Computer was recently revived by the geek squad at Best Buy and they copied
all our files onto a back-up cd. I have copied these .dbx files over into
another folder on the c: drive, but when I proceed to import these files into
Outlook Express 6 they don't appear or are not available in the folder I
copied them over to. HELP!!!

These files will have read-only attribute set because they've been burnt to
CD. You need to locate them and turn off the read-only attribute by right
clicking files, selecting Properties and unticking read-only box.

Did you also copy the file called Folders.dbx?

Yes, I did make sure the folders.dbx file is there. That has not solved the
problem, however. thanks

I did go through all of the .dbx files I'm attempting to import and ensure
that the "read-only" attribute was turned off. This, however, has not solved
the problem. Any other ideas?
