Why can't i get a picture after i save a video

i can watch my project as i work on them but after i finish my movie and save
it to my computer as recommended, i can hear the audio on the media player
but the screen is black.
same thing happens in the real player.
please help me i have a presention tomorrow

What files do you have in the project?

What file type are you outputting as?
Are you watching on a second monitor or do you only have one?

the fils i use are "real player" files, and i try to watch it on my computer
in the real playerq media player

Movie maker does not work with real player files, you need to convert them
to WMV.
