Why can't I E-mail merge in windows 2002? I have Outlook 2002

When I go to Word 2002, select Tools - Letters and Mailings - Mail Merge
Wizzard, e-mail does not come up as an option EVEN THOUGH THE HELP INDEX AND
ALL ONLINE TOPICS I'VE FOUND SHOW THIS AS AN OPTION (ALONG WITH LETTERS,
ENVELOPES, ETC). DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY???

I am using Outlook 2002 as well. Also, when I go to the mail merge toolbar
and click on the "Main Document Setup" button, the E-Mail merge radio button
is greyed out.

Do you have any email accounts set up in Outlook? Try starting the merge from Outlook's Contacts folder, using the Tools | Mail Merge command.

This is very cumbersome and not as flexable as using the mail merge wizard.
I am not sure how this other way works... Why is e-mail greyed out on my
toolbar button for starting document?

I figured out how to use this feature, however, when I get to the end and am
ready to merge the document, it won't allow me to E-mail merge, only printer
merge.

And the answer to my question about email accounts is?
