Wings
I went to Tools, options, calendar options and selected "white" as the
background. Nothing happened. Every other month within the calendar is gray.
What else can be done to change this default?

You'll see white in the working hours and gray the rest of the time. Try
pink or blue so you can see how the colors are displayed.

Just as an experiment, I printed the Aug. calendar (which had a gray
background on the screen) but it printed with the white background. So, I
guess all is okay. Thanks for your help.
