Background color in Outlook 2007

I know how to change the background color of my own calendar. However, if I
have been given access (shared permissions) to another person's calendar, can
I change the background color of that calendar on my computer? Thanks.

Thank you so much. (Actually, I'm providing support at a law firm, and the
secretaries asked this question. I had said that I didn't think so, but I
would post the question.) My next question is can I change the default order
of the colors that appear?

No. Outlook assigns the color.

Not really. You can control it a little by opening the calendars in a
specific order but you can't change the order the colors are applied.
