What is the exact error?

Is your hard drive formatted NTFS?

well i have windows xp home on a sony vaio with premiere and photoshop of
adobe is already installed and i work on editing movies and professionally i
work as a production manager at film sets.

i want to use the autofilm of moviemaker its so cool.

i give my avi file it makes the editing then i cannot get the copy to my
hard disk
or to my camera

i searched everywhere for a related problem and then always found that fat
32 and ntfs difference

BUT my system cannot be fat 32
its xp home and its ntfs.

what else can it be.eveything else is working great
the problem is like it needs a rendering
but i also couldnt understand how to render in moviemaker i guess you dont
render in this program.

do you think installing an older version of the moviemaker could help?
because it is 5.1 moviemaker on my computer.

thanks

What is the error?
You have given the windows version number, not the movie maker version
number.
Until we get the exact error message given to you we are unable to offer
further help

it says
"windows movie maker cannot save the movie file to the specified
location.verify that the source files used in your movie are still available,
and that there is enough free disk space available, and then try again."

there is no such problem the source files are in their place there is free
disk space and the system is ntfs.
