At least half of the graphics already in my webpage are not visible in FP. I
have loaded up to the web to make sure that hasn't been compromised, and they
are still there so its a local problem in FP. I have a large siste and to
physically go in and add the missing graphics would take me most of a day.
I thank you for your help Rob. I'm not sure what you are asking me. All I
did was open FP and start some editing. I have not had to do anything before
except uplaod with my FTP editor. My URL is http://www.penmarric.ns.ca
Ok, let's start over. I see that your site does not utilize FrontPage
extensions so you're using ftp to upload.
Where are the images not showing up? If your talking about on your local
machine make sure they are contained *within* your FP web (the one on your
hd). Make sure they are gifs or jpgs, or pngs...and that the jpgs were saved
in RGB colorspace and not cmyk.
I suspect though that you are not working with a web/site on your hd.
Did you create a FP web though?...or convert your DW files to a FP web?
I haven't used DW in a really long time so I don't remember how dw sets
things up. FP creates a Web/site with associated other files to make it
work, all the files, images, etc. have to exist within the FP web/site (yes
even on your harddrive). If you did the folder that contains the web/site
will have a little blue globe on it.
