Why am I receiving email 2 hours after it was sent?(Outlook 2000)

Emails are being sent to me at 8:30am and I don't receive them until two or
more hours later. What is causing this?
 
either the senders server or your server is slow... or one of the systems
has the wrong time or time zone so the message has the wrong date stamp.

You want us to guess without showing the headers of the delayed
received message?
