Why am I having problems installing Office SP1?

I am able to download Microsoft Office Service Pack 1, but I cannot install
it, even though I insert my cd into my cd drive. Do I really need this
Service Pack?

This group is for Microsoft Access.

For Office installation and upgrade problems you need to ask your question
in an Office group.

You might try microsoft.public.office.setup or microsoft.public.officeupdate

Be sure to mention what version of Office you are using. (You didn't in this
post.)
