Why am i getting this popup?

I keep getting a popup when running IE6. It is
http;//www.system-update.net/popups/old/popuo13.htm
The number increase each time and the screen is blank.
After several times my machine comes to a grinding halt
with CPU utilization locked at 100%.

Any help would be Christmas appreciated!

Your machine has likely been Hijacked.

Install and run either SpyBot Search & Destroy or Ad-aware
update the application and perform a system-wide scan.
