Why Am I Getting Double Read Receipts?

This doesn't happen every time, but often enough to be a nuisance. Sometimes
I will get two read receipts for each email I send in Outlook. If I send an
email to a group of five people, I get 10 read receipts back.

My Sent Items folder shows that only one email is being sent, so why two
acknowledgements. Suggestions, anyone?

How are you addressing these emails?
Are all recipients added to the To field, CC or BCC field?
Do you ever get multiple receipts for a single addressee?

Yes, I do have this problem with single recipients, but not all. When
sending to multiple recipients, I generally do not have more than one
addressee in the To: field. I either use the cc: field for an additional
addressee or put everyone under a single group name.
