Why am I getting an "unspecified error" when I try to send with O.

I have been trying to send a message from my hotmail account using Outlook.
(part of Office 2003) Everytime I hit send a box comes up that just says
"unspecified error". I've tried sending to my other hotmail address, my
yahoo account, and a friends yahoo account to see if maybe it was a problem
with the send address.

I can receive mail with no problem, I just cant' send.

I need help with this also !!!! Was working fine this am and then statred
getting this message "unspecified error" !
