While You Were Out Form

Denita

Hi, I used this form in Outlook 97 and 98. It's an
electronic while you were out message form instead of
paper that you fill out and email to your supervisor's
inbox. It's very helpful and I am wondering if anyone
knows where I can find it to download to my desktop. I am
now using Windows XP Professional with Outlook 2002.
Thanks so much, Denita

Jocelyn, I am unable to open the form. I downloaded and
it automatically saved to Microsoft Office/Office folder.
The directions then say to open Outlook, Open Special
Folder on the File menu, then click Personal Folder. I
don't have\see the "Open Special Folder" under File menu.I
have also tried going directly to Microsoft Office/Office
folder to open this form. Once there, I click on the form,
it then asks which program I'd like to use to open it, I
click on Outlook, it then creates an email with the form
as an attachment. Would you suggest another way to access
this form. As a reminder, I am using Outlook 2002. Thanks,
Denita

In Outlook 2000 you'd use File | Open | Personal Folders File to open the
form. It's just a different name for the same command.

Hi. I am using 2002 vs 2000 in case that makes a
difference. There is no "personal folders" option after
clicking file/open. The options available to me are "other
user's folder" and "outlook data file." Any suggestions?
Thanks, Denita

Sorry about that -- I misread your previous reply. In Outlook 2002 it would
be File | Open | Outlook Data File. Whew...I think we've covered all of the
possibilities now! :)
