With all the NEWS GROUPS to subscribe to, how do I know which ones to
subscribe to???

Access, part of MS Office Professional.

And the ones that have names that begin "microsoft.public.access.", but
add one or more additional keywords, are devoted to specific subtopics
as identified by those keywords. Other Microsoft products have their
own MS-hosted newsgroups, with names beginning "microsoft.public.",
followed by keywords that identify the product and subtopic.

Subscribe to the newsgroups which interest you and have useful posts.

Don't subscribe to the other ones.
