He means, it depends what you will be doing - web surfing requires very
little power, multimedia processing takes tonnes of power. It depends on
what the user will be doing!

For such laptop I would stay away from the atom and celeron, they are
so underpowered nowadays....... The core-i series is the way to go....
Why do you assume the OP was talking Notebook. By the looks of things, the
processors he listed are netbook processors.
