Where's the Auto Save option, and where's the Saved files kept?

Help, I just lost an hour's work because I forgot to Ctrl-C my entire message
when I attached a picture?

Oh, and why does Windows Mail crash every time I attach a picture. If I
don't send the message within 5 seconds of the attachment, Windows Mail
crashes.

Do you have all other programs that access the picture file closed before
you
attach it in Windows Mail? Windows Mail has problems attaching files that
are still open in some other program.

I thought that might have been the problem, so I always close Photoshop and
the Windows Gallery. The only thing that might be open is Windows Explorer,
but even that is just the directory.
