Where to look for reviews of LCD monitors that can be calibrated to match Canon i9100 printer

I expect that one of the photographic or video sites would be a good
place to look.

I need to replace a very well calibrated CRT with an LCD monitor. The
CRT is a very good match for my Canon i9100 printer.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Jim, I think that what you want is called a "graphics" monitor. I had
one from Viewsonic (it blew up). It offered excellent, precise
adjustments. People who do professional graphics work need exacting
tools (Pantone system matching, etc.). You may want to look up monitors
that offer this ability; you may find a few used.

Although I can't say this for sure, I suspect that LCD monitors simply
cannot provide the accuracy of a CRT. Mine sure can't. In fact, I
finally gave up trying to get a precise range out of it: it just won't
do it. I have kept one CRT (plus a backup) for a different computer for
this purpose.
