Where to get Visual Basic .NET 2003 help/advice

Hi,

I am reading a book called microsoft visual basic .net: Reloaded by Diane
Zak. (Thomson Course Technology) I also have a lab book that is part of the
book. I am having a very hard time understanding how to make calculation
codes. I am studying this book in school, but there is no one who tutors in
this particular subject. My question to this news group is where can I go, or
what can do to get help with this issue. Please help me. I need all the
suggestion I can get.
