visual basic CODE

i am a student (year 11) soon i am going to be in year 12, & am going to
start learning visual basic soon. I thought it would be easier to learn this
now in my spare time so that it would be easier when i am in year 12.

I am asking, are their any (free) ebooks/websites that can teach me visual
basic CODE.

I have read some books but all of them just instruct me on how to make an
application & give me the codes.

By the way, i am currently using Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition.

Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition is a version of VB.Net.

This newsgroup deals with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), which is a
very different language.

You'd be best off reposting your question to a newsgroup related to VB.Net
