where to find file outline1.*

I failed to change capitals of each line in Word. Would like to know how.
I saved 3 files with wild card extensions and now there is no trace of them in
documents or recent items. Where to look?
 
Dis you read Kate G's reply to your other thread?
* is a reserved character and cannot be used in filenames, so you probably
haven't saved them at all?
