While trying to get to the bottom of a few problems with my computer, I
read that lsass.exe should be located at c:\windows\system32.However I
seem to have two versions of the file, the other being located at
c:\windows\system32\dllcache.They both have the same installation
date.Can anybody enlighten me here?

The dllcache folder contains a backup of all the critical Windows System
files. This is part of the Windows File Protection feature. These files are
used by Windows to replace a file in case a system file becomes corrupted or
is deleted.
