I would like to save my updates on a cd in case I reformat my drive, but I
can't find the tempory folder where it saves the downloads. Can anyone help
me please.

Thanks.

If you want to save updates, you can download them from the Catalog and save to be
installed later.

How to Download Windows Updates and Drivers from the Windows Update Catalog
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=323166

Click Add button for each update you want to download. Once you have what you want,
Click the “Go To Download Basket†link. Type in or browse to the location where you
want the updates saved to and then Click the “Download Now†button.
Once downloaded, you can then burn them to CD.

Hi,

\WuTemp, and it may be on the drive with the most available space. If you go
to the update site and click on the administrator options in the left
column, you will find there an option to download the stand-alone versions
of the downloads you want.

The initial download is usually to Temporary Internet Files. At
Internet Options, delete files first (for convenience) then in its
Setting once the download has finished but not been installed, use View
Files to look for it and copy away before going on
