Where is Windows - Unhide - Personal.xls

Excel 2007, Win Vista
I open 2007. I go to the VBE. and there is Personal.xls. It is not in the
taskbar so it is hidden. I go back to my workbook (blank Book1).
I want to unhide Personal.xls. HELP tells me UNHIDE is in the View tab, in
the Windows section, IF I have a hidden workbook. There is no UNHIDE there.
Am I missing something? Thanks for your time. Otto
 
It should be right there on the ribbon under View...

I take it you recently got xl 2007? Maybe you don't have a
personal.xls yet...

Sorry, missed that you could see Personal.xls in the vbe - but unhide
is visible on the ribbon by default. It may be grayed out if there are
no hidden workbooks, but it's still there.

Make the xl window as wide as possible - xl2007 starts compressing
(hiding items) each section of the ribbon when the width of the window
is decreased.

Maybe...

If you haven't turned on windows in taskbar, then it may not be hidden.

If you hit ctrl-f6, you can cycle through the visible windows.
 
To all. Thanks. I was looking for the words Hide, Unhide, etc. There are
no words. But there are 3 icons and the tooltips say the words. Thanks

in the ribbon, there is a "view" tab, it has a "window group"
there are three "small buttons" (before the separator)
the last two are: "hide window" and "show window"
