MS is shutting down its newsgroup server, and is not creating any new
groups. In particular, they never created any WIn7 groups. You can use
alt.windows7.general on your friendly neighborhood Usenet server.
Check your ISP or Google free Usenet servers, or check
www.eternal-september.org

That's not correct. There are no *Microsoft* Windows 7 newsgroups, but
there is alt.windows7.general.
