Where is the Org Chart in Office 2007?

I recently installed Office 2007 Professional on my computer. During
the install I specifically selected the "Org Chart" Feature in the
Powerpoint tree.

But now when I go into Ribbon -> Insert -> Object I don't see the Org
Chart feature.

I went back into Add/Remove programs and verified that Org Chart
feature set to "Run from my Computer".

Any ideas?

Thanks

In the Insert tab, click SmartArt, then click Hierarchy. The first of the
seven hierarchy chart types shown is labeled "Organization Chart". Each of
the others can be used for organization charts, as well.

Hi

Just as an aside, if you are used to using 2003 there is a great spreadsheet
called 'where have all the commands gone' available to download from here:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint/HA101490761033.aspx?pid=CH100668131033

Don't know where the help file got the instructions you have from; on the
spreadsheet it says 'Insert | Illustrations | SmartArt'

I think the others have answered your question, but I wanted to ask about
the Help article. What did you search on in Help? When I search Organization
Chart in PPT 2007, I get a whole thing about creating an Org Chart using
SmartArt -- nothing about Insert Object anywhere that I can find.

Odd.

Anyway, if you can remember, that would be great so hopefully we can get it
fixed if it needs to be. (It might not, though.)

In Office 2007 setup, it's listed under PowerPoint. And, here, it shows up
as being installed. But, since I didn't see it where I expected it to be, I
went through the motions and installed it -- even though ostensibly I wasn't
changing anything. I dropped down the control for it and reset it to Run
from My Computer, and then pretended like I really had changed something and
let it complete the setup. Apparently, it worked!

In the Insert tab, click Object. In the Insert Object dialog, with Create
New highlighted, scroll down the list of Object types. I now have one called
Organization Chart Add-in For Microsoft Office Programs!

Note: even though setup indicated that it was already installed--it didn't
show up previously. After pretending to install it, it now shows up.

Thanks!!!!! :) Good to know that I wasn't hallucinating :)

Now I need to figure out a automated way to add this to 100s of our
computers who have already installed Office 2007. The main problem is
that these computers don't have access to the installation media. And
the method that you described requires access to the installation
media files. :-(

Thanks, but I still don't quite know how you got there and what search terms
would make it pop up.
